Mali and Burkina Faso will from now on have joint patrols along thier shared border, this as Benin's president vowed to work with Burkina Faso to fight islamic extremism. These developlements come as security operations at the Splendid Hotel in Ouagadougou, which was on Friday attacked by Alqaeda linked militants, came to an end.
