Millions turned up to vote in Kenya’s general elections on Tuesday. Top presidential candidates Raila Odinga and William Ruto, as well as outgoing President Uhuru Kenyatta cast their votes early the day, with turnout remaining rather low.
According to the electoral commission, 6.5 million of the registered 22 million voters had cast their vote by midday local time.
