Over 300 Tractors, 62 Combine Harvesters Boost Zimbabwe’s Mechanisation Drive

More than 300 tractors and 62 combine harvesters have arrived in Zimbabwe, strengthening the national mechanisation programme launched in 2021 to enhance agricultural productivity.

According to Engineer Edwin Zimunga from the Ministry of Lands, Agriculture, Fisheries, Water, and Rural Development, the new machinery will support ongoing harvesting operations while also assisting farmers in preparing for the upcoming winter wheat season.
