Nairobi County Commissioner David Simiyu has urged parents living in informal settlements to take full responsibility for their children's education by enrolling them in school. Speaking during a mega graduation and awards ceremony at Excellence School in Dagoretti North, Simiyu expressed concern that out of 169 informal settlements in Nairobi, only a small number of parents have taken the initiative to ensure their children access education.
