PARLIAMENT CALLS FOR URGENT ACTION OVER COTTCO GOVERNANCE CONCERNS
Parliament has called on the Mutapa Investment Fund to urgently address governance issues at the Cotton Company of Zimbabwe (COTTCO), amid concerns over delayed payments to farmers and creditors. The matter was raised during a Portfolio Committee on Agriculture, Mechanisation and Water Resources Development meeting, where legislators questioned the company’s management practices and utilisation of disbursed funds.
