Remains of Tim the elephant to be preserved at Amboseli National Park

The remains of Tim, one of the last remaining great tusker elephants in Kenya, who died early this year will be preserved in Amboseli community Maasai heritage museum. The news was received with jubilation by the Amboseli community and Kajiado county residents who previously expressed displeasure over the popular jumbo’s transfer from its abode in Amboseli to the national museums of Kenya in Nairobi.
