In Libya, fighting between opposing factions for control of the country's oil terminals has increased. Forces loyal to military strongman Khalifa Haftar say they're mobilizing ground troops to win back key oil facilities, just days after losing them to rival fighters. On Friday, the Islamist-led Benghazi Defence Brigades seized the oil terminals of Ras Lanuf, which includes an airport, and Al-Sidra. In retaliation, Haftar's troops have carried out air strikes on BDB positions, but haven't succeeded in repelling them. Forces loyal to Haftar have been waging a military campaign against Islamists and other militants for nearly three years now.
