Senegal’s Sall calls for calm; opposition leader urges protests

Senegalese opposition leader Ousmane Sonko addressed supporters after being released on bail, calling for “much larger” but peaceful anti-government protests.
At least eight people have died in the unrest triggered by his arrest on rape charges.
President Macky Sall is appealing for calm.
