Egypt's Red Sea is renowned for its breathtaking coral reefs and abundance of marine life but fishermen are struggling to make a decent catch and some estimate fish stocks have diminished by around 90% over the past 6 years. This could be a dire situation for the fisherman and also for the Sinai region that relies heavily on tourists who come to the area specifically for diving and snorkelling.
