Somali and Turkey hold joint agricultural expo in Mogadishu

A joint agricultural trade exhibition organized by the Somali and Turkish business communities opened this Sunday in Mogadishu. Both sides showcased various products for the potential exchange of market supply. A panel of Turkish and Somali experts also discussed the opportunities and challenges in the agricultural sector, while providing possible solutions. Senior government officials from both countries including Somalia's Trade and Industries Minister, Abdullahi Ali Hassan and Turkish ambassador, Mehmet Yilmaz were present. Somalia recently started the export of its agricultural produce including Bananas to Turkey and gulf countries.
