South Africa has signed a new trade protocol with China, opening one of the world’s largest agricultural import markets to its premium stone fruit. The deal will allow exports of apricots, peaches, nectarines, plums, and prunes to China. The agreement could generate more than $23 million in export revenue over the next five years, hence providing a major boost to the agricultural sector.
