South African Authorities Try To Curb Train Surfing As Accidents Rise

Rail authorities in South Africa are trying to curb the illegal practice of train surfing. This is when people jump onto the top of the trains or hang on to the sides while the train is moving. It's extremely dangerous and very costly. Rail Agency, Prasa, says train surfing accidents cost them millions of dollars annually. These accidents cause disruptions and trauma.
