One of the biggest slum communities in the Nigerian commercial city of Lagos is Ajegunle.
Living conditions here are tough, with basic amenities are grossly lacking.
But in this slum community, some children have found peace, quiet and books, thanks to a small free library in their neighbourhood.

It’s the initiative of one young school teacher, who is determined to change the narrative of the slum kids in the community.
