Thousands of Burundi refugees have returned home from Tanzania. Authorities in Burundi say more than 34-thousand people who fled the violence have made their way back home. Tanzania hosts the largest number of refugees from Burundi, an estimated 144,000. Burundi descended into violence in April last year, when President Pierre Nkurunziza announced that he would seek a third term.
