Ethiopian peacekeepers in Sudan are refusing to be sent back to their home country.
The soldiers were part of a joint mission to Darfur by the UN and African Union.
But now their tour is over, some are seeking asylum, saying an Ethiopian military offensive underway in the Tigray region could put their lives in danger.
Al Jazeera's Hiba Morgan spoke to some of them in a refugee camp in Sudan’s Gadarif state.
