Tunisia Implements Program To Cut Over 120,000 Public Sector Jobs

Published
Tunisia is implementing a voluntary layoff program for civil servants. The ambitious project aims to cut at least 120,000 public sector jobs in the next 2 years. However, less than 30 percent of the expected 30,000 voluntary layoffs in 2017 were registered. The Finance Ministry is now threatening to impose layoffs as CGTN's Adnen Chaouachi reports.
