Tunisia protests: Rallies mark 12 years since the revolution

Published
The opposition in Tunisia has led rallies demanding the president step down over a worsening economic crisis.
The protests are taking place on the 12th anniversary of the so-called Jasmine revolution, which sparked the 2011 Arab uprisings.
Tunisia's opposition says a power grab by President Kais Saied has reversed political freedoms gained more than a decade ago.

Al Jazeera's @LauraKhan has more on the protests.
