Tunisia Welcomes Relaxing Of Belgian Travel Curbs

Published
Tunisia has welcomed Belgium's decision to partially lift travel restrictions on its nationals. The restrictions had been put in place following a deadly attack on a Tunisian beach resort in 2015. Last month, Brussels relaxed curbs on nationals travelling to Tunis and the coastal region in the north. It however advised against visits near the border with Algeria and to southern areas. A state of emergency has been in force since November 2015. Tunisia's Foreign Minister has welcomed the latest developments.
