Unemployment Decreases As 230,000 Jobs Created In 2016 Q4

South Africa's unemployment rate has decreased slightly. More than 230 thousand jobs where created in the fourth quarter of 2016, easing the unemployment rate to 26.5%. Unemployment shot to 27.1% last year, the highest rate in 13 years. Improvements were made in the services, transport, and manufacturing sectors while mining and construction reversed their gains.
