U.S. State Department Waives Negative Advisory Against Egypt

The US state department has waived a negative advisory for tourists destined for Egypt. The department has list the country among the safe destinations in the Middle East region. This is the first time since 2010 that Egypt has been declared safe for US citizens. The other recommended countries were UAE, Qatar, Oman and Jordan. Tourism officials in Egypt have welcomed the move that will revive the fortunes of the ailing sector.
