Zimbabwe's riot police have fired tear gas and beaten up opposition protesters in central Harare.

The demonstrators were demanding urgent electoral reforms ahead of 2018 polls.

The High Court had issued an order sanctioning the march to go ahead.

It is part of a growing wave of streets protests in the past months against President Robert Mugabe's rule.
