Visit Concludes As The Kenya And Slovakia Vow To Boost Trade Relations

Kenya's President Uhuru Kenyatta and his Slovakian counterpart Andrej Kiska have pledged to enhance trade ties.
President Kiska is seeking opportunities for the eastern European country to invest in Kenya's tea, coffee and technology industries. As at 2015, Kenya's total exports to Eastern Europe, including Slovakia rose by 5 per cent to $110 million dollars. Speaking at a press briefing in Nairobi, President Kenyatta said Kenya has immense prospects in the future by strengthening trade ties with Slovakia. Kenya is one of the three countries in Sub-Saharan Africa where Slovakia maintains diplomatic missions. Others are South Africa and Nigeria
