Zambian Opposition Party To Contest Election Results Citing Manipulations In Figures

Police in Zambia have arrested 133 people protesting against the re-election of President Edgar Lungu. The protests followed claims by opposition candidate Hakainde Hichilema that the vote was rigged. Lungu won 50.35 percent of the vote against 47.63 for Hichilema, narrowly avoiding a runoff vote.
