The government of Zimbabwe has filed an application to compulsorily acquire 28000 hectares of land held under lease by Zimplats, the country's largest platinum miner. Government says it wants to put up a power plant on the land in Kadoma, some 140 kilometres outside the capital Harare. Farai Mwakutuya with that story
