Officials in Zimbabwe’s national parks received more than 1,000 distress calls last year from people whose villages were being trampled by elephants.
And so far this year, dozens of people have been killed in animal attacks.
Al Jazeera's Haru Mutasa reports from Hwange National Park, where communities have started relying on their own methods to keep animals away.
