Zimbabwe recorded a ZiG annual inflation of 4,1 percent in January 2026. This is the first time Zimbabwe registered single-digit domestic currency inflation since 1997, which attests to the determination by monetary authorities to pin down the adversary since the introduction of the Zimbabwe Gold (ZiG) currency in April 2024.
