Authorities in Zimbabwe are busy boosting health systems in the country. More people across the world are becoming resistant to drugs, especially anti-biotics. Zimbabwe is embarking on a multi-discipline approach to help stop that in the country. That includes creating awareness. The draft National Action Plan to decrease Anti-microbial Resistance is in line with the Global Action Plan. Countries are required to develop national action plans to combat anti-microbial resistance by May next year. Drug resistant tuberculosis is one of the illnesses that plagues many sub-saharan African countries, including Zimbabwe.
