Ethiopia Troops Withdraw From Key Military Base In Hiiraan Region

Ethiopian troops have pulled out of a key military base in central Somalia. The base in the Hiiraan region was recently attacked by al-Shabaab. The militants have confirmed the incident through their Radio Andalus. They claim hundreds of Somali troops and government officials have also left with the Ethiopian troops. The Ethiopian soldiers are part of an African Union peacekeeping force in Somalia.
