Police in Tanzania say eight people have been hacked to death in one of the worst attacks the country has seen for years. It happened near the northern port city of Tanga, close to the Kenyan border. There there have been reports of gangs there operating out of nearby caves. CCTV's Dan Ashby sent this update.
