A Grade 12 learner from Tiego Tawana Secondary School, outside Mahikeng in the North West, has died at an alleged illegal initiation school.

Onalenna Booi went missing in November, shortly after writing his final exams, prompting his family to open a case of kidnapping and a missing person case.

They believe he was forced to attend the allegedly illegal initiation school, and his body was discovered by the family a few days ago.

For more on this developing story, we now cross live to SABC News reporter Thabang Morutloa, who is with the Booi family in Mahikeng, North West.
