The US has indicated that in their absence from the G20 Summit in Johannesburg, they'd prefer that no G20 Leaders' declaration is adopted. SA G20 Sous-Sherpa, Ambassador Xolisa Mabhongo told Full View that communication in this regard was received from the US this weekend. South Africa will hand the G20 Presidency over to the US. Dr Sthembile Mbete is the Executive Director of the Public Affairs Research Institute.
