The Airports Company South Africa says it's ready to receive increased passenger volumes as the holiday travel surge gets underway today. ACSA says its airports are prepared for a busy December, while it also undertakes a series of infrastructure upgrades.
At its annual festive season preparedness media briefing this morning, Acsa outlined how it plans to manage the higher traffic volumes, maintain smooth operations, and keep the lights on during peak travel. SABC News Economics Reporter Nosipho Radebe spoke to CEO Mpumi Mpofu.
