AFCON 2025 | Bafana prepare to take on Egypt on Friday

At the African Cup of Nations in Morocco, Bafana Bafana take on seven-time champions, Egypt, in Agadir, tomorrow (26 December 2025) with a superior head-to-head record.

The two teams have played each other 14 times so far, with Bafana winning 8, while 2 of those matches ended in a stalemate.

A win against the Pharaohs will guarantee Bafana Bafana a place in the last 16 of the AFCON qualifications.

Egypt are ranked 35th in the world, while South Africa occupy 61st place.
