It wasn't flawless, but South Africa stretched their unbeaten run to 27 matches with a 2-1 victory over Angola in their opening Group B match of the Africa Cup of Nations in Marrakesh in Morocco last night. It was Bafana Bafana's first victory in an opening AFCON group match in 21 years. Coach Hugo Broos was relieved rather than impressed following a sloppy first half performance, dominated by Angola. And despite a dramatic turn-around after half time, hard work lies ahead before Friday's second match against seven-time champions, Egypt, in Agadir.
