al-Shabaab militants have claimed responsibility for a weekend attack on a hotel in Mogadishu. At least 16 people were killed. That includes guards, civilians, militants - and a prominent politician. Al-Shabaab fighters blasted their way into the Nasahablood hotel, before opening fire. They then blew themselves up in what's being called a coordinated attack.
