South Africa are raring to go in their last 32 match against Japan at at the FIFA Under-17 World Cup in Qatar.

Despite inadequate preparation, Amajimbos surprised all and sundry by advancing to the knockout stage -- winning one, playing to a draw in two of their three group matches.

In their last match on Sunday, Amajimbos received a wake up call, suffering a 3-1 defeat against European champions, Italy.

Coach Vela Khumalo credited his players for the fighting spirit they showed as most of the players were required to play out of position due to injuries.
