POLITICAL ANALYSTS HAIL CONSTITUTIONAL AMENDMENT NUMBER 3 PUBLIC CONSULTATIONS
Political analysts have hailed Zimbabwe’s ongoing nationwide public consultations on the Constitutional Amendment Number 3 Bill, describing the process as a sign of a maturing democracy.
The hearings, which are taking place across all 10 provinces and are set to conclude early next week, have seen citizens contributing input on proposed changes including electoral cycle extension and governance reforms.
Parliament is now expected to proceed with the first reading and debate stage of the Bill following the completion of the consultation process.
