High food prices and poor harvests is causing malnutrition among children in Sudan. The children’s agency says at least three million of them are suffering from malnutrition, with at least half a million in urgent need of assistance. Recent floods that have destroyed hundreds of thousands of hectares of farmland are prompting concerns that the number will rise even more.
