Australia became the first country in the world to ban social media for children under the age of 16.
The ban prohibits them from accessing multiple platforms such as TikTok, Youtube, as well as Meta's Instagram and Facebook.

While Prime Minister Anthony Albanese has praised the move, some teenagers are doubtful about its impact.
