Benin joins the electric motorcycle revolution

In Cotonou, Benin’s capital, it is estimated that there are more than 250,000 motorcycle taxi drivers, known as zemidjan. Because of the difficulties they face when maintaining their gasoline-powered motorcycles, many are now switching to electric two-wheelers.
