Cancer Survivors Embark On A 2,500 Km Motorcycle Ride

Published
In South Africa, an entourage of cancer survivors will embark on a 2500 km route, stopping over in towns to educate its residents on how to detect cancer at an early stage. Projections from the World Health Organisation show that cancer-related deaths worldwide will exceed the combined deaths caused by malaria, TB and HIV and AIDS by 2030. This makes cancer one of the greatest threats to society. CCTV's Yolisa Njamela joined the cancer survivors before they started their journey on motorbikes.
