BREAKING: President of Mali held in 'coup' by soldiers

Mali's top government officials including President Keita have been detained by mutinying soldiers in the capital Bamako but their motive remains unclear.

Mr Keita first came to power in 2013 when he won more than 77% of the vote in a democratic election.

U.N. Secretary General Antonio Guterres condemned Keita's arrest which was reiterated by France, the African Union and the US.
