In Mali no one has claimed responsibility for the attack on a hotel in the central part of the country. Although security sources are claiming one group, associated with terror group Ansar Dine, could be behind the seige. There has been a surge in jihadist violence spreading through the region in recent months. Here's Maria Galang with the story.
