The President of the Patriotic Movement for Protection and Restoration, Captain Ibrahim Traoré, is sworn in before the Constitutional Council during a formal hearing. Captain Ibrahim Traore is now President of the Transition, Head of State and Supreme Head of the National Armed Forces.
