Self-proclaimed prophet Shepherd Bushiri and his wife Mary have won an extradition battle against the South African government in Malawi.
The High Court of Malawi set aside the March 12, 2025, order made by the Magistrates’ Court in Lilongwe, which had directed that the couple must be surrendered to the SA government to face trial for various offences against them.
The Bushiri’s face charges including fraud and money laundering.
