Kaizer Chiefs and Bafana Bafana legend, Doctor Khumalo, says, it will be difficult for local coaches to develop and nurture raw young talent if there are no proper infrastructure and resources required to succeed in football in this country.

Khumalo was delivering a keynote address during the commemoration of 59 years of the Makana Football Association founded by Robben Island Political Prisoners of 1966.

He added that, this country has an abundance of talent that can compete in Europe but that dream can easily be shattered if there are no proper facilities for youngsters to showcase their talent.
