China's top diplomat met Ethiopian Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed and called for more cooperation with the country, particularly on infrastructure and the digital economy. China and the African Union also issued a statement calling for the need to uphold an international law-based order, with particular respect for sovereignty and territorial integrity, following the US military operation in Venezuela.
