Civil society groups have gathered outside the Johannesburg Council Chambers in Braamfontein, Johannesburg to demand an improved and equitable water system from Mayor Dada Morero.
They say the city's water crisis has deepened into a human rights and economic emergency crippling essential services and endangering public health.
