Sibusisiwe Comprehensive Technical High School at Umbumbulu near Amanzimtoti on the South Coast of Durban is amongst the rural schools that have achieved a 100% matric pass rate in KwaZulu-Natal.

For the past three years the school has consistently achieved these accolades despite being under resourced.

Out of the 267 matriculants about 236 of them obtained a Bachelor pass.

Ayanda Ngcobo and Lungani Ngcongo are among the school's top achievers with distinctions in all 8 subjects.

Our reporter Simphiwe Makhanya attended the 100% pass celebrations at the school, and caught up with the school Principal Emmanuel Zuma in reaction to this spectacular milestone.
