COSATU's First Deputy President Mike Shingange says they are disappointed that despite years of talks about the reconfiguration of the alliance, it still hasn't happened. The SACP says it is forced to go it alone in future elections after the ANC's refusal to reconfigure the alliance in over 22 years.
